Pope Francis is a pretty cool guy

Pope Francis is currently the 266th pope of the Roman Catholic Church. Most of his strong morals have to deal with God's mercy and his humble actions. Most of his beliefs are common with past popes with a strong emphasis on god and his teachings, however today I wanted to share a few awesome things pope francis has done in the past year that goes to show what kind of guy he is. He was the first pope to ever be on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. He also gave a 7700 word cover story for the magazine. The pope also recently owned a Harley Davidson (keep in mind the man is 79 years old), however due to his occupation he had little time to use it so he auctioned it off for charity. Some man bought the motorcycle for 200,550 British pounds as well as his leather jacket for an additional 47,751 pounds. During a political meeting with our government when it came time for lunch the pope chose to take his meal to the streets and enjoy it with the homeless. He is by far one of the most humble popes we have ever had as the head of the catholic church. And pope Francis swore during a weekend speech in St Peter's Square, he stumbled on a few Italian words and accidentally let the F bomb drop during his speech.

Finally Pope Francis spoke out against the Church's obsession with abortions and gay marriage. He has stated many times that "if someone is gay and he searches for the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge?" Francis is a total bad-ass and is going to set the bar extremely high for the future popes to fill.
