Alexander The Great was a very important and influential man who was important to world history. Taught by Aristotle, Alexander was groomed to be a promising leader who would eventuality conquer most of the known world. After the death of his father, King Philip II Alexander inherited the throne at the age of 20 and went on an unprecedented campaign through Asia and North East Africa, by the age of 30 Alexander The Great manage to create the largest empire in the ancient world stretching from Greece to Egypt to North East India. Alexander conquered what was known back then as the world which marked into history, even after his death his legacy is so great that other leaders used him as a basis for what it meant to be a strong powerful leader.
